This piece is incredibly stunning. Designed by Alfred Philippe in the late 1940s this bold coral starburst makes all the right moves. Originally a brooch and pendant, this piece lives on as a gorgeous pendant necklace with a 22ct gold vermeil chain. Stones are actually poured or “molded” glass, which began usage in the 1920s - 1940s during war years. This is a highly sought after and quite rare piece by a master designer. The abstract starburst became popular in this period due to the space race.
