An elephant with a raised trunk is a symbol of good fortune. As the elephant approaches with his trunk raised he bears good fortune upon it. In the 1930s and 1940s figural pieces such as this were extremely sought after, especially pieces such as this which would have looked Indian in origin. This elephant is based is based on a vintage design, however this piece is handcast of 18ct gold plate and enamel. It is available on 18ct gold chain or with beads.
